Because Mental Health Treatment Should Be More Precise

A New Path to Personalized Care at Foundation Psychiatry using Firefly Evoke™

The Evoke system is an FDA-cleared neurodiagnostic technology that measures brain function, and provides visual mapping your biometric progress throughout your treatment journey
The goal is not to replace clinical evaluation–it’s to provide supporting physiologic and cognitive information that can help guide our team’s clinical decisions.

Why This Matters for You

Depression, anxiety, OCD, and treatment-resistant symptoms can present similarly in daily life, but each condition is represented by unique activity in the brain. The Evoke EEG System® by Firefly Neuroscience gives patients and clinicians visual insight on how the brain is functioning. Traditional evaluations rely heavily on symptoms and patient history. The Evoke EEG System® provides real-time insight on your brain’s response to current treatment and care. This gives your clinician additional physiologic information that may help support treatment planning, monitoring, and ongoing care decisions.

What the Assessment Is Like assessment.jpeg

The Evoke assessment is:

  • Safe and non-invasive

  • Comfortable and painless

  • Typically completed in 30–45 minutes

During the session, small sensors are placed on the scalp to record brain activity.

You may rest quietly and complete simple visual or auditory tasks that measure attention, processing speed, and cognitive response.

There are no needles, sedation, or medication involved.

What the Evoke System Measures

Brain Activity (qEEG)

Measures patterns of brain function at rest and compares them to age-matched norms.

Cognitive Response (ERP)

Measures how efficiently the brain processes and responds to information and stimuli.

Stress & Nervous System Regulation (HRV)

Measures physiologic stress-response patterns and autonomic nervous system activity.

Functional Brain Mapping

Provides visual maps of brain activity patterns that may help support treatment planning and monitoring.

This information is reviewed alongside your symptoms, history, and clinical evaluation to support more informed care decisions.

Who This May Help

The Evoke assessment may be helpful for individuals experiencing:

  • Depression

  • Treatment-resistant depression

  • Anxiety symptoms

  • OCD symptoms

  • Difficulty concentrating or slowed thinking

  • Incomplete response to previous treatments

It may also help clinicians monitor how brain activity changes throughout a TMS or Spravato treatment course.

What Happens After the Assessment

Your clinician will review the Evoke results with you and discuss:

  • What the brain activity patterns may indicate

  • How the findings relate to your symptoms and treatment history

  • Whether interventional therapies such as TMS  are  an appropriate option

  • Progression of brain health and activity throughout your treatment journey

This allows treatment decisions to incorporate both clinical evaluation and measurable brain-function data.
